The FIS Alpine Jr. World Ski Championships

Invermere Home Hardware is a proud supporter of the 2022 FIS Alpine Jr. World Ski Championships.

Today, Al and I (Steve, the marketing guy), got the chance to head up to Panorama Resort to check out the Men’s and Women’s Downhill. Snow conditions were a little softer than the athletes would have preferred, but they were still able to attain speeds of between 100-116kph!

The women’s field ran in its entirety, but the Men’s race was postponed due to poor visibility. It’s supposed to get cold overnight, which is a good thing! Look for some blistering speeds tomorrow!
